KEYNOTE: RENOVATING WITH STYLE
Join Architectural Digest Editor in Chief Margaret Russell as she speaks with Reed and Delphine Krakoff about their uniquely artful home renovations. Resuscitating older houses has become a way of life for this design-focused couple. The lively discussion will cover how they make a space feel true to its design origins, reflective of their contemporary, art-driven tastes, and suitable for their young family. They’ll also focus on the research and dedication that goes into their meticulous process, especially their extensive work on Lasata, the childhood summer retreat of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, featured in the April issue of Architectural Digest.

THE ART OF CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS
Designers reveal how they maintain good relationships with their clients—from start to finish. Featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, the discussion will cover how to approach the client interview process, interpret a client’s wants and needs, decide when it’s appropriate to send an associate to a meeting, and the best way to present your final design vision. Once the job is complete, there are still factors to consider, such as how to handle the big reveal and what home—maintenance services should be offered.
